We waited, holding position and hoping this minke whale would approach a little closer… Then it surfaced around 50 metres from the boat, and just as it was slipping back beneath the waves, we saw it, this whale had a calf with it!

We had a great selection of cruises in September as well as Private Charters. Many thanks to our guests who posted reviews and sent in their photos, we really enjoy getting them and are delighted all have been so positive.

Our 2019 cruises are fully booked apart from one cabin on our Loch Linnhe, Caledonian Canal and Loch Ness 6-night cruise. This is a relaxing, sheltered water cruise which journeys through the very heart of Scotland, through outstanding scenery. The cruise is a luxurious experience aboard Emma Jane, with ensuite cabins, spacious saloons and decks, a gourmet menu, accompanied onshore excursions, lots of wildlife and even a hot tub! 

Our cruising season has got off to a great start in the best possible way, with lots of happy guests! Many of them have very kindly let us know what they thought of their cruise in April & May and also sent in their amazing photos.

We landed on a white shell sand beach on a tiny uninhabited island - the rocky headlands were carpeted with bluebells, sea pinks and primroses. Getting to these special places is what makes a holiday with Hebrides Cruises unique.

Every so often, one of our guests is inspired so much by their cruise that they produce poetry. We love this poem by Margaret Knowles who has cruised  with her group of friends aboard Elizabeth G for several seasons. We are delighted they approve of Elizabeth G's refit and that they have already booked again for 2020.

We have two new “Far-flung Islands” cruises for 2020 to celebrate Scotland's "Year of Coasts and Waters".  Our “Far-flung Islands” series of 10-night cruises are designed to access the most remote, evocative and idyllic islands of the Outer Hebrides and the far North West of Scotland.

We are constantly looking at ways we can improve how we operate to remove any negative impact on the environment. We have now discovered environmentally-conscious wine with a suitably maritime name and focus!

After being undercover for the winter months, Elizabeth G has arrived at her summer berth to reveal a total interior redesign and refit. She is still the same sturdy ocean-going vessel on the outside, but inside, guest accommodation is totally new, with four double or twin cabins, each with its own ensuite and a completely refurbished and more spacious deck saloon with bar and library.

A very exciting moment for us at the beginning of every season is when we can announce our Crews. It is not an understatement to say that our Crews are outstanding and it is a privilege for us to work alongside so many talented, well qualified people, who are passionate about what they do and care so much for the enjoyment of our guests.
